This week happens to be my spring break. We planned to go to Amsterdam, Budapest, Vienna, and Salzburg. I am currently in Vienna, Austria. I stayed in a hostel, thinking I was saving money and being continuing to push myself out of my comfort zone. It was going just fine until my friend Maddy got this feeling that something was wrong. And she was right, we found bed bugs.
Luckily, we have only been there for 30 minutes so none of our belongings and baggage had been contaminated. We packed up faster than I have ever seen us move, found a hotel, and left. Are we really studying abroad if something like this doesn’t happy to us? Note to self: don’t stay in hostels anymore!!
